NAME
       fgconsole - print the number of the active VT.


SYNOPSIS
       fgconsole


DESCRIPTION
       If the active Virtual Terminal is /dev/ttyN, then prints N on standard output.

NOTES
       Under  devfs, the consoles are in /dev/vc/N.  devfsd may maintain symlinks for compatibil-
       ity.
